Welcome to Year 6!

In Year 6, our class teachers are Miss Gouldsbrough, Miss Wells, Mrs Haigh and Miss Young. We will be learning about lots of exciting things over the academic year, including World War II and the Ancient Maya Civilisation in History and the Circulatory System in Science. • Wednesday 10th December 2025 - 6HY Class Assembly. 9am in the KS2 Hall.
• Wednesday 10th December 2025 - Christmas dinner and jumper day.
• Tuesday 16th December 2025 - Carol Concert. 1:30pm at St Helen's Church.
• Wednesday 17th December 2025 - WW2 theme day for Y6 pupils in school.
• Friday 19th December 2025 - Year 6 Christmas Party.

To celebrate Remembrance Day, we created blackout poetry using some famous war poems such as In Flanders Fields, For The Fallen and We Shall Keep The Faith.

In PE, 6LG have been doing gymnastics. This week we practised partner balances.
