Welcome to the year 1 writing page.

On this page you will find composition and VCP grids showing progression throughout the year. You will find the writing spine which shows the texts that are used throughout the year and some examples of hook lessons.

Year 1 would also like to share some wonderful examples of their writing. We love writing at Sandal Castle!
