Thank you to our parents, carers and families for your unwavering support, care, kind words and emails. We are all in agreement that the last few months have not been easy, but in working together, communicating effectively, respecting that the decisions made have been to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all, we have successfully and safely reached the end of the academic year. It's been lovely to see how the school community continues to pull together through these uncertain and unprecedented times. Thank you. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Summer and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on the 8th September.

Project Boards

If you are feeling like a Topic Detective, have a look at these Project Boards. These are Topics you would have been learning about in school- there are questions, research ideas, arts and crafts and other cross curricular ideas to inspire your learning and get you exploring and discovering new exciting information. There are also instructions on how to share your work with your teachers. We can't wait to see what you get up to. Look out for the next boards soon!

Writer's Workshop

Writing can be fun, it can be an adventure. Writing can help to heal our hurts and sort out worries in our minds. Writing can inspire our imaginations.

To practise and embed your writing skills whatever your year group, use these creative writing prompts to get writing! Write as much as you want, let your pencil take you on an adventure, let the prompts inspire other ideas and just have some good fun with words! You can respond to the prompts in whatever way you like- a poem, a comic strip, a story, a piece of factual writing...whatever you feel like! You could even illustrate your writing! If you want to share any of your writing with Mrs Waddington, she would love to read it- email it

Week Beginning 20.4.2020

This week’s Writer’s Workshop Bingo!

Pick a task for this week, or as many as you like and send your work to Mrs Waddington! If you don’t fancy one of the ideas but have your own idea, that’s fine too! You can write it yourself, write it with an adult, include pictures, whatever inspires you!
